Father De Montfort was ready for priesthood as he had completed all the virtues. Such as helping the sick and helpless, opening his heart to helping the poor and forgiving those who have hurt are sinned against others he also had a great attitude about everything he did. All of these show that Father De Montfort was ready to become a priest, so He was ordained to priesthood in 1700 and celebrated his first Mass in honor of Mary at the Lady Chapel of St. Sulpice on June 5th.
